The GraceWorks Early Childhood Program is licensed by the Department of Early Education for Children (DEEC) to provide year-round care for a combined count of 52 children/day for our toddler, pre-school and pre-kindergarten programs.
In our Toddler Room children from 15 months through 2.9 years are guided to discover and explore the world around them using the Creative Curriculum program. Children in this age group are moving from the dependency of infancy to the independence of preschool years. Emphasis is given to children growing in their self-reliance in a supportive environment.
GraceWorks has a very specific transition plan for toddlers when they first attend GraceWorks and begin the process of getting acclimated to the classroom's routine, teachers and other children. Please click here to see the transition plan for toddlers.
GraceWorks has two toddler classes. The Chipmunks, Toddler Room #1, is taught by Danielle and Shunta, with Kerri H. helping out as needed. This rom is licensed for 9 toddlers/day.
The Butterflies, Toddler Room #2, is taught by Karen, Katrice, and Christie. This smaller room is licensed for 6 toddlers/day.

Families provide lunch. GraceWorks provides morning and afternoon snacks and extra drinks.
Please: NO NUT PRODUCTS or
foods processed in plants that process nuts.
Cost: $60.00/day, (vouchers accepted)
Families can choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 days.
Hours of Operation: 8am – 6pm sharp
GraceWorks is currently in the accreditation process with NAEYC. |

Toddler Room Staff
| Danielle has been with GraceWorks since September 2005. She has her Lead Teacher certification from Massachusetts DEEC , and a teacher certification from Bunker Hill Community College. Danielle is currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Bachelor of Science degree program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. |

| Shunta joined the Toddler Program staff in April 2011. She has years of experience with preschool teaching, and is certified by the Massachusetts DEEC as a preschool teacher. Shunta has fit right into the Toddler Room and is keeping the children busy! |

| Christie joined the Toddler Program teaching staff in January 2012. She is certified by the DEEC as an infant/toddler and preschool teacher. Christie loves working with toddlers, and is teaching in Toddler Room #2. |

| Karen joined both GraceWorks and the Toddler Program teaching staff in September 2011. She has eleven plus years of experience working with infants through preschool age children. Karen is DEEC certified as an infant/toddler teacher, and as a preschool teacher. She loves doing arts and crafts projects with the children, and fully enjoys watching how small children interact. |

| Katrice joined the Toddler Room staff in September 2011, and has been with GraceWorks since August, 2010. Many of our families know Katrice from our Afterschool and School-Age Summer Programs. Katrice works with toddlers in the mornings and with school-age children in the afternoons. Please see Katrice's bio on the AfterSchool page. |

| Kerri H. joined the Early Childhood staff in January 2012. She is a biology major and plans to teach science as an elementary school teacher. Kerri will be a float staff member, usually working with the Early Childhood children, and most often with the toddlers. |

| Shameika joined the Early Childhood staff in February 2012. She is certified by DEEC as an infant/toddler and preschool teacher, and has joined the staff in Toddler Room #1. Shameika has over two years of experience working with toddler and preschool children. She is working towards her Associates Degree in Early Childhood. |
