The GraceWorks Early Childcare Program is licensed by the Department of Early Education for Children (DEEC) to provide year-round care for a combined count of 53 children/day for our toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. 

In our Preschool Class children ages 2.9 to 4 years old enjoy a stimulating, learning environment.  The children are exposed to activities which promote school readiness skills. They have the opportunity to play, create and explore inside and outdoors everyday.  Children go on a few field trips each year, mainly during the summer months.

The Preschool curriculum follows guidelines approved by the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC).

 Families provide lunch.  GraceWorks provides morning and afternoon snacks and extra drinks.

Please: NO NUT PRODUCTS or foods processed in factories which process nuts

Cost is $66/day (vouchers accepted)

Drop-in days (for enrolled children only) are $72/day

Preschool Room Staff  

Makayla P.  came to GraceWorks in November 2014, while she was still in high school.   She has now graduated from the Medford Vocational High School with a specialization of  Early Childhood Education   She is DEEC certified as an Toddler/Preschool teacher.   Makayla has had lots of experience working in day care and afterschool settings and also was a cheerleader coaching assistant for children. 

Ashley M.  came to GraceWorks in October of 2015.   She is DEEC certified as both an infant/toddler and a preschool teacher.   Ashley has her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from UMASS, and also took Early Childhood Education courses, completing an internship with Head Start.  Her teaching skills add so much to the Pre-kindergarten classroom.

Alexis C. joined GraceWorks in the fall of 2018.  She is new to the field of Early Education and is planning to begin taking classes in the spring.  Alexis worked as a nanny for several years.
